Benefits of using LinkedIn Creator Mode

On LinkedIn there is a profile setting on your dashboard that can help you grow your reach and influence on LinkedIn that’s the Creator mode. 

Here are the benefits of using LinkedIn Creator Mode








  • Followers
    Linkedin will display followers on your profile, that can show your content audience and your content reach.

  • Get discovered
    You become eligible to be featured as a suggested creator to follow so that potential followers can find you and your content across LinkedIn.
  • Hashtags
    You can display the topics you create content post about in your profile introduction as hashtags. LinkedIn members can easily discover your content and follow you.

  • Content Highlight
    LinkedIn will highlight your original content you post on your profile. People can easily check and see what you are writing and posting about.

  • Access to creator features
    You can get access to creator tools such as LinkedIn Live and LinkedIn Newsletter if you meet the access criteria. To find out if you meet the criteria, visit the Creator tools section in the creator hub. You will see Available next to the creator tools you have access to.

  • Creator analytics
    You get access to creator analytics, which provide aggregate analytics to show how your content portfolio performs over time. You can major your post performance using it.


Does creator account reduced reach?

All accounts, whether personal, business or creator, are treated equally. However, the benefit of having a business or creator account is the level of insights you get (that you don't get as a personal account).

Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. Click View profile. From here, you can: Switch the toggle to the left to turn off Creator mode.
