What is – Google AdWords?

Google AdWords is the online advertising platform. It is owned and operated by Google.

AdWords is Google’s advertising system for businesses who wants to display ads on Google and its advertising network.

AdWords is also the leading and most widely used online advertising network in the world.

Millions  of businesses advertise online using Google AdWords to reach new customers and grow their business.

Google AdWords allows businesses to set a budget for advertising and only pays when a customer clicks the ad.

Google AdWords is mainly focused on keywords.

This advertising platform, AdWords, offers website owners the opportunity to manage campaigns for the search engine and to supplement these with multimedia ads on the Google Display Network.

Pay-per-click means that someone advertising will pay every time a visitor clicks on their advert and is then taken to the advertiser’s website.

You can use AdWords to bring targeted traffic to your web site by creating ads and choosing keywords related to your business.

You do not need to pay to create your adverts (ads) with AdWords, it is totally free and as many ads can be created as required.

This is a very effective form of online marketing indeed. Millions of businesses around the world use AdWords.

The way it works is simple - People use keywords (or search terms) to search for specific products and services,  If the keywords you’ve chosen match what people search for, your paid ad appears next to or above organic Google search results.

When people click on your ad, they’ll go to your website to know more or buy.
